Duluth GA - The Atlanta Gladiators mourn the loss of former player, captain, and ECHL Hall of Famer, Cam Brown, who tragically passed away on Saturday.
When the Gladiators first arrived in Gwinnett County in the summer of 2003, Brown was called out of retirement by former coach, Jeff Pyle, to lead the team as it began its new era in Georgia. American Association: The independent American Association announced its 2026 season schedule will feature the same 12 teams and six-team East and West divisional alignment as last season. Each team will play 100 games from May 14 through September 7, 2026.
Carolina League: The Charleston (SC) RiverDogs of the Single-A Carolina League filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against a company called Riverdog Moving LLC that was formed in 2022. Renwick and Laatsch Recalled from Wheeling
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have recalled forward Nolan Renwick from their ECHL affiliate, the Wheeling Nailers. Additionally, defenseman Daniel Laatsch has been reassigned by the Pittsburgh Penguins to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from Wheeling.
Both rookies have accrued four points through Wheeling's first three games of the 2025-26 season. Renwick piled up two goals and two assists, while Laatsch posted four assists, tied for the Nailers' team lead and tied for most by ECHL rookie defensemen.

Colorado Rapids and Head Coach Chris Armas Mutually Agree to Part Ways
The Colorado Rapids announced today that the club and Head Coach Chris Armas have mutually agreed to part ways following the expiration of his contract.
Armas concludes his tenure in Colorado after two seasons in charge, during which he helped guide the Rapids back to the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, earn a third-place finish in the 2024 Leagues Cup tournament and capture back-to-back Rocky Mountain Cup titles.
