August 4, 2025 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today their exhibition schedule for the 2025 preseason. The Penguins will play two contests, one home, one away, against their in-state rivals, the Hershey Bears and Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
The Penguins' 2025 preseason dates and game times are as follows:
Friday, Oct. 3 - Hershey vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, 10:30 a.m. @ Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza
Saturday, Oct. 4 - Wilkes-Barre/Scranton vs. Lehigh Valley, 7:05 p.m. @ PPL Center

July 15, 2025 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Max Graham to a two-year American Hockey League contract starting in the 2025-26 season.
Graham, 21, served as the captain of the Kelowna Rockets last year, his final season of junior hockey. He produced 35 points (13G-22A) in 34 games before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season.

July 9, 2025 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they will host their home opener to the 2025-26 regular season on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza.
In their home opener, the Penguins will face-off against the Hartford Wolf Pack at 6:05 p.m.
The only other time Wilkes-Barre/Scranton began its home schedule against Hartford was at the start of the 2016-17 campaign. The Penguins won that game, 6-2, on the back of a four-point performance from rookie Jake Guentzel (1G-3A).

July 2, 2025 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed goaltender Taylor Gauthier and forward Aidan McDonough to American Hockey League contracts for the 2025-26 season.
Gauthier is entering his fourth season as a pro and his fourth season in the Penguins organization. In 25 career AHL games, all with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, the Calgary, Alberta native boasts a 10-5-7 record to go along with a 2.77 goals against average, .908 save percentage and two shutouts.
