Penguins Sign Anthony Peters to AHL Contract

February 21, 2018 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed goaltender Anthony Peters to an American Hockey League contract for the remainder of the 2017-18 season through the 2018-2019 campaign. Peters, 26, has recorded a 7-4-2 record this season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and a 2.83 goals against average and .900 save percentage over the course of two separate professional tryout agreements with the Penguins. February 18, 2018 - ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins dropped a 4-1 decision to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms at PPL Center on Sunday evening. February 17, 2018 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins came up short in an epic back-and-forth battle against the Utica Comets, losing 5-4 in overtime at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza on Saturday night. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (30-14-4-1) used three tallies in the third period to erase a two-goal deficit and take the lead, but allowed a tying goal late in regulation.
