Penguins Reassign Renwick and Urdahl to Wheeling
April 5, 2026 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have reassigned forwards Nolan Renwick and Zach Urdahl to their ECHL affiliate, the Wheeling Nailers.
Renwick has appeared 42 games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, posting five points (2G-3A). In 46 career AHL games, all as a Penguin, the 25-year-old has four goals and three assists for seven points. April 4, 2026 - ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins blew past the Lehigh Valley Phantoms with a 6-2 win on Saturday night at PPL Center.
A natural hat trick and four-point outing by Aaron Huglen allowed Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (43-16-6-2) to stand tall in its final meeting of the season against its turnpike rival, wrapping up a lopsided season series. April 4, 2026 - TOLEDO, OH- The Wheeling Nailers are rolling. On Saturday night, the Nailers earned their tenth consecutive win and tied a team record with their eighth straight road victory, as they defeated the Toledo Walleye, 4-2 in front of 8,111 fans at Huntington Center. Ryan McAllister led Wheeling's offensive attack with two goals, while Taylor Gauthier took care of business on the other end with 26 saves. The Nailers now have a magic number of seven to clinch their first division title in 22 years.

April 3, 2026 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins emerged triumphant against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 3-1, on Friday night at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (42-16-6-2) jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first period and didn't look back. Avery Hayes posted a point on each of his team's three goals as the Penguins won their fifth game in a row.
