San Diego FC Secures Third Straight Win with 2-0 Victory over Colorado Rapids

SAN DIEGO - San Diego FC (SDFC) earned three points at home with a 2-0 win against the Colorado Rapids with goals by defender Christopher McVey and forward Anders Dreyer at Snapdragon Stadium on Wednesday night. With the result, SDFC extended its winning streak to three. SDFC (7-4-2, 23 pts) now sits in second place in the Western Conference, having recorded its fourth win at home this season. Minnesota Advances to PWHL Finals with a 4-3 Overtime Win over Toronto

SAINT PAUL, MN - The reigning Walter Cup champions will return to the PWHL Finals as the Minnesota Frost defeated the Toronto Sceptres 4-3 in overtime on Wednesday night at Xcel Energy Center to win the best-of-five semifinal series 3-1. Taylor Heise scored the overtime winner at the 16:00 minute mark of the extra frame, securing a Frost victory over the Sceptres for a second straight playoff season. ROCHESTER, NY - A four-run first inning propelled the Durham Bulls past the Rochester Red Wings 7-4 at Innovative Field on Wednesday night. The Bulls (26-15) won their second straight game to open a 12-game road trip over the last place Red Wings (10-29). Durham moved into sole possession of second place, three games behind Lehigh Valley.
