August 15, 2025 - Florence, SC - The Pee Dee IceCats today announced the signing of goaltender Brent Moran for the upcoming season. Moran, 29, is a native of Orleans, Ontario, and was selected in the fourth round, 115th overall, by the Dallas Stars in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-4, 194-pound goaltender catches left and brings significant professional experience to the IceCats. Pee Dee IceCats Sign Trevor Lord & Jordan Popoff; Complete Trade with Watertown Wolves

August 11, 2025 - Florence, SC - The Pee Dee IceCats have bolstered their inaugural season roster with the signing of forward Trevor Lord and defenseman Jordan Popoff. In a corresponding move, the IceCats have sent Kevin Szabad, Mark Pozsar, and Andrew Utero to the Watertown Wolves, finalizing the previous trade that brought forward Tate Leeson to Pee Dee. August 1, 2025 - Florence, SC - The Pee Dee IceCats have completed a trade with the Watertown Wolves, acquiring forward Trevor Lord in exchange for forwards Olivier Beaudoin and Danyk Drouin.
