Grasshoppers Secure Extra-Inning Victory with Walk-Off Walk
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Greensboro Grasshoppers earned a 4-3 victory over the Asheville Tourists in extra innings, sealing the win with a walk-off walk. With the win, Greensboro improved to 5-1 on the season, while Asheville fell to 2-4. The Tourists outhit the Grasshoppers, 8-6.

Saltiban, Claws Walk-Off Thursday Winners in 11
JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Devin Saltiban hit a walk-off single in the 11th and the BlueClaws topped Brooklyn 2-1 in 11 innings on Thursday from ShoreTown Ballpark.
It marked the first walk-off win of the year for Jersey Shore. Saltiban's hit came in the bottom of the 11th after Titan Kennedy-Hayes stranded the ghost runner in the top of the inning.
Jersey Shore has now won three games in a row and are 4-1 for the first time since 2017.
BlueClaws pitchers combined to strike out 16 Cyclones and hold Brooklyn to 0-17 with runners in scoring position.

Smokies Rally from Seven Down to Stun Trash Pandas, 8-7
KNOXVILLE, TN - The Knoxville Smokies (4-2) erased a 7-0 deficit on Thursday night to earn their third straight win over the Rocket City Trash Pandas (2-4), 8-7, at Covenant Health Park. The loss spoiled another strong offensive showing for Rocket City, which has now scored six or more runs in all six games to open the season, including the first Double-A home run from Raudi Rodriguez.

Chourio, Reyes and Woods Spin One-Hitter Thursday
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Kendry Chourio, Jhon Reyes and Jordan Woods held the Myrtle Beach Pelicans to only one hit in a 1-0 victory for the Columbia Fireflies at Segra Park Thursday evening. It was Columbia's first one-hitter since David Shields, Henson Leal, Dash Albus and Julio Rosario combined for a one hitter at Augusta July 2, 2025.
