Professional Women's Hockey League Expands to San Jose, California for 2026-27 Season

PWHL PWHL San Jose NEW YORK AND TORONTO - The Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) today announced expansion to San Jose, California, rounding out the league's four-team expansion class set to debut for the 2026-27 season. PWHL San Jose will play its home games at SAP Center and train at Sharks Ice at San Jose, following an expansion bid led by Sharks Sports & Entertainment and the City of San Jose. Leslie Lifts Ottawa to First Victory against the Victoire with Late Third Period Goal

PWHL Ottawa Charge KANATA, ON - -Rebecca Leslie led the Ottawa Charge to a 2-1 comeback win over the Montréal Victoire, staving off elimination, in front of a PWHL playoff record crowd of 16,894 fans at Canadian Tire Centre on Monday night. The Game 3 matchup was an even, scoreless affair through two periods, despite multiple back-and-forth scoring chances and a 5-on-3 opportunity for the Charge to open the second period. Nailers Advance to Eastern Conference Final with Game Seven Victory

ECHL Wheeling Nailers WHEELING, WV - For the first time in ten years, the Wheeling Nailers are headed to the Eastern Conference Final. On Monday night at WesBanco Arena, the Nailers earned their fifth game seven victory in team history, as they held off the Maine Mariners, 4-3, in front of a passionate crowd of 3,210 fans. Zach Urdahl scored what turned out to be the series winning goal with 1:31 remaining, while Tanner Andrew scored his first professional goal and added an assist.
