Rockers Take Final Game of Homestand over Dock Spiders

Northwoods Green Bay Rockers ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - The Green Bay Rockers (4-3, 26-14) won Game 1 of a new series against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (2-5, 19-23) to close out a five-game homestand. Green Bay got off to a hot start loading the bases with nobody out in the first, but they were only able to muster up one run to claim the lead. Tristan Gray Added to the 40-Man Roster, Called up to Chicago

IL Charlotte Knights CHARLOTTE, NC - Prior to tonight's game vs. Toronto, the Chicago White Sox recalled Charlotte Knights infielder Tristan Gray. The versatile infielder joins the White Sox as Ryan Noda was placed on the 10-day IL in a corresponding move. Gray, 29, is batting .280/.349/.493 (59-for-211) with 12 doubles, three triples, nine home runs, 39 RBI and 37 runs scored in 62 games with Charlotte this season, his first in the organization after signing as a free agent on January 30. Luciano, Teng Sweep PCL Weekly Honors

PCL Sacramento River Cats WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Not only did the Sacramento River Cats sweep their past six games against the Reno Aces, but a pair of River Cats have also swept the Pacific Coast League Weekly awards as outfielder Marco Luciano was named the PCL Player of the Week and right-handed pitcher Kai-Wei Teng tabbed the PCL Pitcher of the Week for games from June 30-July 6.
