SL Montgomery Biscuits KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Montgomery Biscuits (46-37, 8-6) evened the series after a 7-5 comeback win over the Knoxville Smokies (39-43, 7-7) on Wednesday night. After going down by five runs after the first three innings, Montgomery managed to turn things around in the later stages of game two. After Cael Chatham walked off the Otters yesterday, infielder Carlos Amezquita lifted the Wild Things to an 8-7 win with an infield hit. CarL Fredericksburg Nationals ZEBULON, N.C. - Nick Peoples' two-run, ninth-inning home run lifted the Fredericksburg Nationals (11-6, 41-41) to a 4-2 win over the Carolina Mudcats (10-6, 46-34) on Wednesday at Five County Stadium. The win moved the FredNats to .500 for the first time since May 9 and into first place in the Carolina League North's second-half standings. EL Erie SeaWolves The SeaWolves (9-5, 54-29 overall) made it five straight wins with a rain-shortened, 3-2 win over Harrisburg (4-10, 38-45) in five innings. In the second inning, Chris Meyers drove a two-run home run, his seventh, to give Erie a 2-0 lead against Harrisburg starter Kyle Luckham.
