MWL Quad Cities River Bandits Davenport, Iowa - The Quad Cities River Bandits took a no-hitter into the ninth inning Wednesday and shut out the Beloit Sky Carp 3-0 at Modern Woodmen Park. The blanking marked the Bandits' Midwest League-leading 13th of the season and the club's second in the last seven games. Before the arms chased the no-no, Quad Cities' bats quickly jumped on Beloit starter Noble Meyer in the second. IL Toledo Mud Hens Louisville, KY - The Toledo Mud Hens played a doubleheader matchup at Louisville Slugger Field against the Louisville Bats. Game one saw Toledo dominate with a 13-2 final, while game two also went in the Hens' favor with a 9-7 victory to complete the sweep. SL Biloxi Shuckers KNOXVILLE, TN - Jaron DeBerry starred and tied his career-high with 6.0 innings while the lineup broke out for their most runs since July 4th in an 8-4 win for the Biloxi Shuckers (57-47, 15-20) over the Knoxville Smokies (49-53, 17-17) at Covenant Health Park on Wednesday night. The win snapped the Shuckers' six-game losing streak and marked the 17th time this season that Biloxi has recorded at least eight runs in a game.
