June 7, 2026 - Three-time Cy Young Award winner and Detroit Tigers star Justin Verlander is slated to make his second rehab start with the Mud Hens on Wednesday, June 10 at Fifth Third Field*. Verlander previously pitched five scoreless innings with three strikeouts for the Mud Hens on June 2 at Iowa. A Day of Two Very Different Games

June 6, 2026 - The Toledo Mud Hens and Iowa Cubs played two games today, splitting the doubleheader. It was an intense day of baseball filled with back-and-forth action and high emotions. Game 1 Toledo picked up in the 1st inning right where they left off the night before. Batting second in the lineup, Max Anderson lined a single into right field. The Bats Traveled Well in an 8-4 Win

June 5, 2026 - After a rainout the day before, the Toledo Mud Hens and Iowa Cubs were finally back on the field on June 6, 2026, where Toledo picked up an 8-4 victory. The Hens wasted little time getting the offense rolling. In the top of the 2nd Ben Malgeri started the game with a single to center field before Gage Workman joined him on the bases with a bloop single into shallow left. Project Playhouse at Fifth Third Field

June 5, 2026 - Local organizations build playhouses at Fifth Third Field for Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity's Project Playhouse. Led by Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity, hundreds of volunteers from a variety of organizations across Toledo met on the Fifth Third Field main concourse Thursday to build 30 playhouses for local families.
