Mud Hens and Walleye Host over 6,000 Kids at Free Summer Clinics

October 23, 2025 - TOLEDO, OH - The Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Walleye are celebrating a record-breaking summer for their youth baseball and hockey program. More than 6,000 kids participated in free clinics that were part of the two teams' Let's Play initiative. Launched in 2023, the goal of Let's Play is to introduce kids in the community to baseball and hockey, share the fun of healthy play, and foster a lifelong appreciation for sports. Mud Hens Finish Strong with 7-2 Victory over Cubs

September 21, 2025 - Des Moines, IA - The Toledo Mud Hens closed out their season on a high note, defeating the Iowa Cubs on Sunday, September 21, at Principal Park. First pitch was delivered at 2:08 p.m. The Mud Hens wasted no time getting the bats going. In the top of the first, Eduardo Valencia ripped a double to set the tone. Toledo then struck big in the third when Andrew Navigato doubled and came around to score on an Austin Murr RBI single, giving the Mud Hens a 1-0 lead. September 20, 2025 - Des Moines, IA - The Toledo Mud Hens defeated the Iowa Cubs on Saturday evening at Principal Park by a final score of 4-2. The Mud Hens sent Troy Watson to the mound, entering with a 4-1 record and 3.11 ERA. Iowa countered with Jaxon Wiggins, who entered 0-1 with a 3.18 ERA. Toledo jumped out to a hot start. September 19, 2025 - Des Moines, IA - The Toledo Mud Hens fell to the Iowa Cubs in the Friday finale of the regular season. In a game dominated by pitching and defense, the final score was 1-0. Toledo sent Jordan Balazovic to the mound to begin the game, entering with a 5-1 record and a 3.91 ERA. Iowa countered with Walker Powell, making his first start with the Cubs.
