Syracuse, NY - Behind an offensive surge and a stellar start from Joander Suarez, the Syracuse Mets beat the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 7-6, on a rainy Saturday night at NBT Bank Stadium. After a one-hour rain delay, Syracuse (20-24) didn't miss a beat in the bottom of the first inning. The Mets put up six runs on IronPigs starter Nabil Crismatt. Tulsa, OK - A combination of home runs and a brilliant start on the mound from Jackson Ferris led the Tulsa Drillers to their fourth straight win on Saturday. Tulsa finished with three home runs, two of them courtesy of Griffin Lockwood-Powell.
