American Association: The independent American Association announced its 2026 season schedule will feature the same 12 teams and six-team East and West divisional alignment as last season. Each team will play 100 games from May 14 through September 7, 2026.

STATELINE, NV - The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights, earned a two-game sweep over the Tulsa Oilers as their offense continued to fire on all cylinders in a 5 to 2 victory.

Pietila Pushes Nailers to Overtime Victory
PORTLAND, ME - Multiple goal leads were not safe at Cross Insurance Arena on Sunday afternoon, as the Wheeling Nailers and Maine Mariners needed extra time to determine a winner. Both teams erased a two-goal deficit, leading to a 4-4 deadlock after regulation. With less than one minute to go in overtime, Logan Pietila stepped up as the hero for the Nailers, as he poked in the rebound of Zach Gallant's initial shot for a 5-4 triumph. Tommy Budnick and Max Graham both scored their first pro goals for Wheeling.

P-Bruins Defeat Islanders, Earn Sixth Straight Victory
Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins defeated the Bridgeport Islanders 4-1 on Sunday evening at the Amica Mutual Pavilion to earn their sixth straight victory to open the season. Forward Georgii Merkulov scored twice, while Matej Blumel posted two assists. Goaltender Simon Zajicek stopped 23 shots to earn his third victory of the season.
