EVERETT, WA: Powered by a grand slam by Carson Jones and two home runs from Jonny Farmelo, the Everett AquaSox defeated the Tri-City Dust Devils 16-2 at Funko Field on Friday afternoon in front of 2,212 fans. (Gary, IN) Opening Day 2025 has arrived in the American Association, and the Gary SouthShore RailCats, entering their 22nd season as an organization, will kick off the season at Franklin Field in Milwaukee against the Milkmen. Manager Lamarr Rogers enters his fourth season at the helm of the club. Rogers previously coached for the St. Paul Saints and the Astros organization. Veteran MLB Pitcher Wade Miley to Start for Dragons Saturday on Injury Rehab Assignment

Dayton, Ohio - The Dayton Dragons have announced that veteran pitcher Wade Miley will serve as the Dragons starting pitcher on Saturday, May 10 at Day Air Ballpark on a Minor League injury rehabilitation assignment as the Dragons battle the Great Lakes Loons. Miley, who has completed 14 seasons in the Major Leagues, is currently on the injured list with Triple-A Louisville as he works to return from elbow surgery in May of 2024. BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - New York Mets infielder Ronny Mauricio will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Binghamton on Friday night as the Rumble Ponies continue their series with the Reading Fightin Phils at 6:07 p.m. at Mirabito Stadium. Mauricio played 26 games with the Mets in 2023, slashing .248/.296/.347 with a .643 OPS, before tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in December 2023.
