JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Former Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp outfielder Jakob Marsee made his major league debut on Friday for the Miami Marlins at loanDepot park in Miami. Marsee is the second former Jumbo Shrimp to make his debut in the last week. His teammate Troy Johnston debuted for Miami on July 29. The Toronto Blue Jays have announced that newly acquired starter RHP SHANE BIEBER is scheduled to make a Major League injury rehabilitation start for the Bisons on Sunday afternoon against the Syracuse Mets at Sahlen Field (1:05 p.m.). Marlins Send Outfielder Derek Hill to Begin Rehab Assignment with Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Miami Marlins' outfielder Derek Hill will begin an injury rehabilitation assignment for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Saturday against the Columbus Clippers at VyStar Ballpark. Hill was placed on the 10-day injured list on July 22 with a left middle finger sprain. He's played in 33 games thus far in 2025 with Miami, slashing .211/.276/.322/.598, cracking six extra-base hits while driving in seven. BILOXI, MS - The Biloxi Shuckers and Milwaukee Brewers have announced that 1B Blake Burke has been promoted from the High-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and added to the active roster. The Brewers' No. 23 prospect per Baseball America and No. 27 per MLB Pipeline will make his Double-A debut tonight against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Burke has been assigned No. 38.
