May 20, 2026 - Edmonton, Alta. - The Edmonton Oil Kings and Tri-City Americans are once again excited to team up for another joint Development Camp this year.
After a successful first year of the partnership in 2025, the two clubs will bring their prospects to Edmonton once again for skills training and scrimmages starting Friday, June 5 and running till Sunday, June 7.

May 19, 2026 - PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees announced today the signing of Canadian forward Liam Bordt. Bordt was selected in the first round, 20th overall, by the Vees in the WHL Prospects Draft last week.
The Langley, BC native spent the 2025-26 season with NAX in the CSSHL U15 Prep league registering a combined 24 goals and 24 assists in 29 games-played in the regular season. May 19, 2026 - The Penticton Vees announced today the signing of American forwards Tyden and Tate Bergeson.
Tyden Bergeson is the older of the two brothers (2007-born) and spent the 2025-26 season with the Madison Capitals of the USHL producing 11 goals and 11 assists in 23 games-played in the regular season. Tyden added nine points in 11 playoff games with the Capitals this season as his team made a push to the USHL conference final. He also played for Moorhead High in the USHS-MN league picking up 81 points in 31 games played.

May 19, 2026 - Carter Savage was a bit of a late bloomer.
While most player who end up in the WHL are solely dedicated to hockey early on, it wasn't until Savage was around 11 years old that he found his stride in the game.
"I remember we went to Chicago for a spring hockey tournament and I was so nervous, I was shaking in my boots," he laughed. "I had always played ever since I was really young, but my skill didn't come along until much later. Most guys are starting spring hockey at eight or nine, but I was closer to 10 or 11."
