January 30, 2026 - CHICAGO - Chicago Stars FC today announced the following health update on defender Natalia Kuikka:
Kuikka sustained a knee injury on the first day of Chicago Stars' preseason training January 20. After further medical evaluation, it was determined Kuikka tore her anterior cruciate ligament and would be placed on the season-ending-injury list.
The Chicago Stars will fully support Natalia as she recovers and look forward to her rejoining the team.... Full Story
January 29, 2026 - CHICAGO - Chicago Stars FC today announced goalkeeper Mackenzie Wood has been removed from the 45-day injury list and placed on the club's active roster.
Wood began her time with the Chicago Stars in 2023 and was loaned for the season to French side, Stade de Reims Féminines. Rejoining the Stars in 2024, Wood debuted in National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) May 12, 2024, recording three regular-season appearances and tallying eight saves for the season. January 19, 2026 - CHICAGO - The Chicago Stars have signed midfielder, Emma Egizii, the club announced today. The former UCLA Bruin and 2022 NCAA Champion joins the Stars on a three-year contract running through the 2028 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) season.
"I'm so excited to start my career in Chicago! I'm grateful to be in a city with such an amazing culture," said Egizii. "I'm eager for the direction the team is headed and glad I can be a part of it. Can't wait to get started!"
