Chicago Stars FC Places Natalia Kuikka on Season-Ending-Injury List

January 30, 2026 - CHICAGO - Chicago Stars FC today announced the following health update on defender Natalia Kuikka: Kuikka sustained a knee injury on the first day of Chicago Stars' preseason training January 20. After further medical evaluation, it was determined Kuikka tore her anterior cruciate ligament and would be placed on the season-ending-injury list. Chicago Stars FC's Mackenzie Wood Activated from 45-Day Injury List

January 29, 2026 - CHICAGO - Chicago Stars FC today announced goalkeeper Mackenzie Wood has been removed from the 45-day injury list and placed on the club's active roster. Wood began her time with the Chicago Stars in 2023 and was loaned for the season to French side, Stade de Reims Féminines. Rejoining the Stars in 2024, Wood debuted in National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) May 12, 2024, recording three regular-season appearances and tallying eight saves for the season. Chicago Stars FC Announce 2026 Preseason Roster

January 19, 2026 - CHICAGO - Chicago Stars FC announced the club's preseason roster today ahead of the 2026 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) season. The team enters the preseason with 30 players: 19 returning, seven new and four non-rostered invitees. The Stars will train at the Bridgeview Sports Dome beginning January 20 until February 1, when the team travels to Spain for the first-ever international preseason training trip. Chicago Stars FC Signs Midfielder Emma Egizii

January 19, 2026 - CHICAGO - The Chicago Stars have signed midfielder, Emma Egizii, the club announced today. The former UCLA Bruin and 2022 NCAA Champion joins the Stars on a three-year contract running through the 2028 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) season.
