The Sea Wolves are in first place in the Southwest Division. The Stingrays have not played a team from the Southwest this season. The Rays have won their last six games on the road. Mississippi's Stephan Walby is ranked ninth in the ECHL in scoring with 71 points on 35 goals and 35 assists.

Baton Rouge has the fewest wins in the ECHL with 18. Cam Brown is in his first season as Head Coach of the Kingfish. Third game of a four game road swing for the Rays. Baton Rouge has just nine wins at home.

Icegators are coming off a road trip through the Northwest. The Icegators are 20-5-4 at home. Shawn McNeil leads the team with 75 points on 33 goals and 42 assists.

Last Week in Review: The Stingrays moved into second place in the Southeast Division with a 3-1 week. The team won Tuesday night at home against Columbus 3-1. The team won its fifth straight road game on Thursday night when Kirk Daubenspeck stopped 43 shots in a 2-1 win in Columbia. On Friday, the Rays lost a nine game unbeaten streak with a 6-3 home loss against Greenville. On Saturday, the team won its sixth straight road game 5-4 in a shootout in Augusta.

Team Notes:

The Stingrays lead the ECHL in road wins with 19 and have just 16 wins at home. The team has had road-winning streaks this season of five and six games. The Rays have a record of 8-1-1- in its last ten. The Stingrays have the third ranked power play in the league with a mark of 23.0%. The Rays have a shootout record of 6-2. The team has just five road games left this season. South Carolina has a record of 18-4-5.

Players:

Marty Clapton has a ten game point streak with has seen him score one goal and 12 assists. Dave Seitz is in the top ten in the ECHL in Scoring with 71 points on 18 goals and 53 assists. Kirk Daubenspeck has won eight straight games. In five of the eight games he allowed just one goal against. Daubenspeck has won 32 games this season, which leads the ECHL and is a Stingrays franchise record. Jeff Boulanger has six goals in his last nine games.

Community Notes:

The South Carolina Stingrays will play a charity softball game tonight at Berkeley Electric Cooperative Field in Moncks Corner at 6:00, against the Berkeley Electric Cooperative Hotstix. Admission is $1.00 and all proceeds will go towards the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Tomorrow the Stingrays will Tee It Up in the Seventh Annual Stingrays Leukemia Classic at Coosaw Creek Country Club at 9:30 AM.
