Penske Racing Game-Worn Jersey Auction Raises Nearly $21,000 for Berks Women in Crisis

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals Penske Racing jerseys worn at the March 2 game against the Trenton Titans raised a total of $20,946.60 through a live auction. Doug Hayward conducted the post game auction, which benefited Berks Women in Crisis.

The highest bid was #9 Brad Rooney's jersey for $1,700.

Special edition jerseys featuring the Penske Racing drivers' names and car numbers will be available for purchase. These driver specific jerseys will retail for $150 and can be purchased at www.royalshockey.com.

Berks Women in Crisis, a domestic and sexual violence center, is a committed to the understanding and prevention of personal and institutional violence against individuals. The mission of Berks Women in Crisis is to empower individuals through programs that provide counseling and advocacy services, support and safety to battered women, their children and survivors of sexual violence.
