Magliarditi Week's Top Goalie

PRINCETON, N.J. - Richmond's Marc Magliarditi is the East Coast Hockey League Goalie of the Week for February 24-March 2.

Magliarditi, who was runner up for Goalie of the Week last week, was 3-0-0 with a shutout, a 1.33 goals against average and a .955 save percentage in three starts for Richmond.

The 26-year-old Magliarditi made 25 saves in a 2-0 win against Lexington on Wednesday, and had 38 saves in a 2-1 win against Northeast Division leader Atlantic City on Friday. He closed out the week making 22 saves in a 6-3 win over Reading on Saturday.

Selected in the sixth round (146th overall) by Chicago in the 1995 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Magliarditi is 5-0-0 with a shutout, a 1.40 goals and a .950 save percentage in his last five starts. The native of Niagara Falls, N.Y. has lowered his goals against average from 3.21 to 3.00 while raising his save percentage from .895 to .901.

Tied for the ECHL lead with three shutouts, Magliarditi is 22-18-3 in 45 games for the Renegades.

Runners Up: Doug Teskey, Toledo (3-0-0, 1.67 GAA, .952 save pct) and Kirk Daubenspeck, South Carolina (3-0-0, 2.00 GAA, .947 save pct).
