
Condors Celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday; First Ever Live Real Time Chat Tonight

Upcoming week of March 3rd - March 9th:
· Monday, March 3rd - Jason Jackman and Nate Anderson will be celebrity readers at Olive Drive Elementary School as the school will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday today at 9:00 am. Jackman and Anderson will be visiting rooms and reading classic Dr. Seuss stories to children. Olive Drive Elementary School is located at 7800 Darrin Avenue.
· Monday, March 3rd - Condors Defenseman Quinn Fair will be heading to Wingland Elementary School to take part in their Dr. Seuss' birthday celebration. Fair will be reading to third grade students from 8:45 am - 9:30 am. Wingland Elementary School is located at 2000 Dianne Drive.
· Monday, March 3rd - Condors winger Jamie Cooke will be heading to Fairview Elementary School this morning at 10:00 am to read to children as they celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. Cooke will be addressing the entire school before heading to each classroom to read. Fairview Elementary School is located at 425 East Fairview Road.
· Monday, March 3rd - Condors players J.J. Wrobel and Mike Marostega will be taking part in Longfellow Elementary School's Dr. Seuss' birthday celebration. Wrobel and Marostega will be roaming classroom to classroom reading Dr. Seuss stories starting at 1:45 pm. Longfellow Elementary School is located at 1900 Stockton Drive.
· Monday, March 3rd - Log on and chat with Condors Captain Paul Willett as he fine-tunes his typing skills in the first real time chat with a Condor. Willett will be available to answer questions and discuss hockey strategies from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Log onto www.condorsonline.com, and click on the Condors Chat icon to register.
· Tuesday, March 4th - Join the Condors for FOX 98.5 & The Prime Cut Mardi Gras Celebration as they host the Fresno Falcons. The first 1,000 fans will receive Condors Mardi Gras beads. The night is also WB 12 & Kiss 96.5 Student ID Discount Night. All college and high school students receive admission for $1.00 by presenting their student ID. KUZZ 107.9 will be holding Blood Drive Night. Fans that donate one pint of blood to Houchin Blood Bank will receive complementary terrace admission. Fans are also able to donate at both Houchin Blood Bank locations prior to the game at 5901 Truxtun Avenue and 2600 G Street.

Single-game tickets are available through the Centennial Garden Box Office, open 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com or at any Ticketmaster location. Group outings may be purchased by calling 324-PUCK (7825), or by visiting the Condors office at Centennial Garden. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the puck drops at 7:00 pm.
· Wednesday, March 5th - Condors players Jason Ralph and Jonas Lennartsson will be at Bear Mountain Elementary School from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm to take part in their Celebrity Reader Day. Ralph and Lennartsson will be reading to students in the library as well as visiting different classrooms. Bear Mountain Elementary is located at 1501 Hood Street
· Wednesday, March 5th - Join the "Voice of the Condors", Kevin Bartl as he hosts a special Wednesday edition of the Condors Coach's Show on KGEO AM 1230 live from the Holiday Inn Select's Q Street Bistro from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Head Coach Paul Kelly, winger Jamie Cooke and goalie Beau Fritz will be the guests on the show. The Holiday Inn Select is located at 801 Truxtun, on the corner of Q Street and Truxtun.
· Thursday, March 6th - Join Cal, the Baby Condor, at Van Horn Elementary School for CASA's "Kids Helping Kids" from 8:30 am - 10:00 am. Van Horn Wayne Elementary students will be donating their spare pennies to CASA to help fund the training of CASA volunteers. Van Horn Elementary School is located at 5501 Kleinpell Avenue
· Sunday, March 9th - Join the Condors for Spanish Radio Group & Water Association of Kern County Poster Giveaway. Everyone in attendance will receive a Condors poster, featuring Quinn Fair, Jason Jackman, Jason Ralph, Paul Rosebush, and Associate Coach Marty Raymond. 101.5 KGFM, Paramount Farms & ARRC Technology will host T.H.I.N.K. Night - Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge. The program allows students to earn tickets to tonight's game through exceptional performance. The day gets started at 4:00 pm outside of Centennial Garden in the plaza with a celebration including bounce houses, a magician, and music from Spanish Radio Group. The doors open at 4:00 pm and the puck drops at 5:00 pm. Centennial Garden Box Office will be open 10:00 am through game time for this special Sunday game. There is also a Skate with the Condors following the game, exclusively for season ticket holders.
Condors Droppings:
· The fifth annual Tip-A-Condor will be held on Monday, March 24th at the Crystal Palace from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Details to come shortly.
· Saturday, March 15th is the Condors 4th Annual Christian Music Festival, presented by Jesus Shack Productions. Come enjoy live music as five Christian rock bands will perform outside of Centennial Garden on Centennial Plaza prior the game, beginning at 2:00 pm. Churches wishing to purchase discounted tickets to the game, contact Alex Sheffield at the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825).
· The Condors find themselves in the #9 slot in the 'AA' minor league hockey poll on the web site www.inthecrease.com.
