Richmond Renegades News Release

Richmond, VA—Live broadcasts of Richmond Renegades games will be heard on AM 950 All American WXGI for the remainder of the regular season. The ‘Gades will debut on WXGI Friday when they open a nine game road trip at Roanoke.

The Renegades radio deal with Cat Country 100.3 ended due to the sale of the station. The broadcast format will remain the same, with the pre-game show 15 minutes prior to face off and a 10 minute post-game wrap-up.

AM 950 All American WXGI is best known as Richmond's long-time home for traditional country music. But the station also has a solid sports presence with "Big Al" Coleman's morning show, Virginia Tech football and basketball, Richmond Braves baseball, and the Dominion District High School Football Game of the Week.

‘Gades games will continue to be broadcast over the internet at www.renegades.com. The ‘Gades face Roanoke (Friday) and Charlotte (Saturday) this week at 7:35. Broadcast time is 7:20 both nights.

The ‘Gades return home for the final two games of the season Saturday, March 29 vs. Charlotte and Sunday, March 30 vs. Roanoke. For more information please call 643-PUCK (7825).
