The Storm's 40-13-8 record gives Toledo 88 points, which places the Storm in sole possession of the top slot in the overall ECHL standings.

Toledo's (.721) win percentage is the highest in the league.

The Storm's 40 wins ties Toledo with the Peoria Rivermen for the most wins in the league.

Toledo's 13 losses in regulation ties Toledo with the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies for the fewest regulation losses in the league.

The Storm is currently on a four game win streak. The longest win streak of this season for Toledo is seven games (12/14 - 12/31/02).

With the three home victories this past week, the Storm has run the team's home winning streak to eight games, dating to a 4-1 loss to Lexington at the Toledo Sports Arena on February 1. The 2002-03 Storm established a franchise record by winning the team's first eleven home games.

The Storm's home record of 23-2-4 = 50 gives Toledo the best home win percentage in the league at (.862). The best home win percentage in the eleven year franchise history of the Storm was established by the 1995-96 team at (.829) (27-4-4 = 58).

In Toledo's 6-2 win over the Dayton Bombers last Wednesday, the Storm scored five power play goals (in ten tries), which established a team high for this season. That total was surpassed in Toledo's 8-3 victory over Wheeling on Sunday when the Storm scored six goals (in seven opportunities) with the man advantage.

During the past week, the Storm power play scored 13 goals on the power play (of the twenty-one total goals scored during the week) in twenty-seven chances with the man advantage, which translates into a 48.1% scoring ratio.

Overall this season, Toledo has scored 69 power play goals in 359 chances-a 19.2 % scoring ratio, which ranks the Storm eleventh in the league in this category.

The Storm did not allow a power play goal against in the four games played over the past week, killing off all twenty chances that the opponents had with the man advantage. This marks the first time this season that Toledo has gone as long as four consecutive games without giving up a power play goal against. In fact, the Storm had not gone three consecutive games all season without giving up a PPGA until this week.

Overall this season, the Storm has allowed 56 power play goals against in 360 opportunities for the opponents-an 84.6% kill ratio, which ranks the Storm second in the league in this category.

The Storm has the best home penalty killing ratio in the league at home (88.6%) (19 ppga in 167 chances).

Toledo is third in the league in average penalty minutes per game (30.6 pims/game) behind only the Louisiana IceGators (33.5 pims/game) and the Peoria Rivermen (33.5 pims/game). The Storm has had 528 minor penalties assessed against the team, which is second only to the Dayton Bombers (533) in that category.

In Toledo's 6-2 win over Dayton last Wednesday, Darryl Bootland picked up two fighting majors and a total of 12 penalty minutes. Bootland leads the league in penalty minutes with 313.

Over the course of the past week, Tim Verbeek picked up four minor penalties, giving him a total of 61, which is third in the league in that category. Verbeek has had at least one minor penalty assessed against him in 38 of the 61 games that he has played with the Storm this season.

In Toledo's 6-2 win over Dayton last Wednesday, twelve of the sixteen skaters who played for Toledo in that game factored in the scoring. In Sunday's 8-3 win over Wheeling, eleven different players picked up at least one point.

In Wednesday's 6-2 win, the Storm scored the game's first goal (by Paul Ballantyne 3:00 into the game). In fact, the Storm scored the first goal in all four games that the team played this week. Toledo has a record of 32-2-4 when scoring the game's first goal this season.

Paul Ballantyne's goal last Wednesday was his sixth goal of the season, and three of those were the first goals scored in the hockey game. Ballantyne also assisted on the game winning goal last Wednesday (scored by Nate Robinson at 15:21 of the first period). In Sunday's 8-3 win over Wheeling, Ballantyne scored two goals, marking the first multi-goal game of his pro career. He also assisted on another goal in that game, marking his second three-point performance of the season. Ballantyne has had five multi-point performances with the Storm this season.

Dale Junkin's power play goal at 7:53 of the first period on Wednesday gave the Storm a 2-0 over Dayton. That was Junkin's eleventh goal of the season and his fifth scored while the Storm was on the power play.

Nathan Robinson's power play goal at the 15:21 mark of the first period gave the Storm a 3-0 lead and turned out to be the game winner. Robinson also scored the game winning goal for the Storm in the 5-2 win in Cincinnati on Friday night. These were Robinson's first game winning goals of the season for Toledo. Eighteen different players have scored a game winning goal for Toledo this year.

Nathan Robinson scored two goals and picked up an assist in Toledo's 6-2 win over Dayton on Wednesday; and then did the same thing in the Storm's 5-2 win in Cincinnati on Friday. To that game, Robinson had played five games with Storm and had three 3-point performances-and four multi-point games. Although he was held pointless in Toledo's 2-1 win over Louisiana on Saturday, Robinson assisted on the Storm's second goal in the 8-3 win over Wheeling on Sunday. Robinson has now had at least one point in six of the seven games that he has played with Toledo and racked up a total of 13 points (5g-8a=13pts) in those games.

Matt Ellis scored the Storm's fourth goal in Wednesday's 6-2. Ellis also scored Toledo's fourth goal in the 5-2 win over Cincinnati on Friday; and the game winning goal (Toledo's second goal of the game-and Ellis' second game winner of the season) against Louisiana on Saturday. Although Ellis was held without a point in Sunday's game, he has now had ten goals in his last twelve games with the Storm. During that time span, Ellis has racked up sixteen points (10g-6a=16pts) and has had five multi-point games (including a two point performance in the 2-1 win over Louisiana).

Matt Ellis is the Storm's second leading scorer with 45 points (20g-25a=45pts), which places him thirteenth in the league's rookie scoring race.

Nick Parillo scored the Storm's fifth goal while Toledo was on the power play in the 6-2 win on Wednesday. Parillo also scored a power play goal in Sunday's 8-3 win over Wheeling. Parillo now has seven power play goals on the season, tying him with Matt Ellis for the team lead in that category.

In addition to his power play goal on Wednesday, Nick Parillo also assisted on Dale Junkin's power play goal (the second for the Storm). In Sunday's 8-3 win, Parillo picked up a goal and three assists, marking his third four-point performance of the season. Parillo has had 13 multi-point games with the Storm this year.

Nick Parillo became the first Storm player to surpass the fifty-point plateau this season with his four point game on Sunday. Parillo is the team' s leading scorer with 53 points (22g-31a=53pts), placing him tied for sixth in the rookie scoring race in the ECHL.

Brandon Fleenor assisted on both the fifth and sixth goals for Toledo in the 6-2 win on Wednesday. That was Fleenor's first multi-point game of the season. Fleenor also picked up two fighting majors in Sunday's 8-3 win over Wheeling. That marked his second multi-major game of the season.

Doug Teskey stopped 28 of the 30 shots that he faced in picking up the win against Dayton last Wednesday. (Dayton scored their first goal at 14:17 of the third period and their second with just 11 seconds remaining in the game). One of Teskey's stops was on a penalty shot taken by Dayton's Fred Slukynsky at 9:38 of the first period. (The Storm was leading 2-0 at the time.) That marked the second penalty shot taken against the Storm this year. Steve Crampton of the Wheeling Nailers scored on his penalty shot against Teskey on December 14, 2002.

Doug Teskey also picked up wins this week against Cincinnati and Louisiana. In the 5-2 win in Cincinnati on Friday, Teskey tied a season high by making 44 stops on the 46 shots taken on him by the Cyclones.

Doug Teskey is currently on a five game win streak and has a total of 24 wins (24-6-4) for the Storm, placing him tied for third in total wins amongst ECHL goalies. Teskey's 2.92 goals against average is tied for eighteenth in the league.

In Friday's 5-2 win in Cincinnati, Darryl Bootland scored the game's first goal, marking the third time this season that Bootland has scored the game's first goal. Bootland also scored the Storm's fifth goal in that win, marking his second multi-goal game of the season. (He had a hattrick against the Jackson Bandits on January 8.) Bootland is the Storm's leading scorer against the Cyclones this season, scoring five goals and adding six assists (and playing at a +9) in eight games.

The Storm held the Louisiana IceGators to one goal on Saturday night. That marked the eleventh time this season that Toledo has allowed one or less goals in a game, and Toledo has a record of 10-0-1 in those games. (The Storm has a record of 26-1-2 when they hold the opposition to two goals or less.)

The Storm has a team goals against average of 2.69 which is second to only the Peoria Rivermen (2.54) in the ECHL.

In Saturday's 2-1 win over Louisiana, the Storm fired a total of 49 shots on goal. (In fact, Toledo established a team high 24 shots on goal in the second period of that game against the IceGators.) The Storm also had 42 shots against Dayton last Wednesday. Toledo has had 40 or more shots on goal in fifteen games this season and averages 35.25 shots on goal per game, which second only to the Florida Everblades in the league.

The Storm scored a team high eight goals against the Wheeling Nailers on Sunday afternoon. Prior to that game, the season high for Toledo had been seven goals, which the team did twice-both against the Nailers (11/02; and 12/14). Overall this season, the Storm has scored 42 goals in nine games against Wheeling (5.22 goals/game).

The Storm scored four first period goals against Wheeling on Sunday, marking the sixth time this season that Toledo has scored four goals in a single period. The Storm has scored four goals in one period on four different occasions against the Nailers this year.

Overall this season, the Storm has scored a total of 211 goals in 61 games, an average of 3.46 per game, which is ninth in the league.

Jim Brown picked up a hattrick for the Storm on Sunday afternoon. That was the third hattrick of the season for Toledo. (Alexandre Jacques scored three goals against Dayton on November 16; and Darryl Bootland picked up the hattrick against Jackson on January 8). Two of Brown's goals on Sunday were scored while the Storm was on the power play. Three of his six goals with Toledo have come while the Storm was playing with the man advantage. On Sunday, Brown also added an assist for his first four-point performance with the Storm. In his ten games with Toledo, Brown has three multi-point games and a total of twelve points (6g-6a=12pts).
