July 13, 2026 - Washington, D.C. - The reigning Olympic champion U.S. Women's National Team will return to Audi Field on October 10 against Spain, the world's top-ranked women's soccer team and defending Women's World Cup champion. July 11, 2026 - Cary, NC - The Washington Spirit tallied its third straight win and eighth in its last nine regular season matches Saturday night with a 2-0 shutout of the North Carolina Courage. Midfielder Leicy Santos and forward Trinity Rodman scored their fifth and sixth goals of the season, respectively, as goalkeeper Sandy MacIver kept her seventh clean sheet of the year. July 9, 2026 - Washington, D.C. - Washington Spirit forward Trinity Rodman has been named the NWSL Player of the Week, presented by AT&T and midfielder Leicy Santos earned Assist of the Week, presented by CVS Health for their standout performances in last Friday's 2-1 home win over the Houston Dash, the league announced today. Washington Spirit Signs Cameroonian Standout Monique Ngock

July 9, 2026 - Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit has signed Cameroonian midfielder Monique Ngock to a three-year contract through the 2028 season, the club announced today. As part of the move, the Spirit will pay a transfer fee to Ngock's former club FC Fleury 91 Coeur d'Essone of the French Première Ligue.
