July 8, 2026 - PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Thorns announced today that forward Mimi Alidou has been transferred for an undisclosed fee to the Montreal Roses of the Canadian Northern Super League. Alidou arrived in Portland during the 2025 NWSL season, helping the Thorns in their path to a third-place league finish. She also made appearances against Tigres UANL and Club América in the 2024/25 Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals. July 5, 2026 - PORTLAND, Ore. - In their return to NWSL action, the Portland Thorns showcased their offensive dominance in a 4-0 win against Racing Louisville FC on Sunday afternoon at Providence Park. June 30, 2026 - PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Thorns announced today a midseason roster update ahead of the announcement of 2027 free agents from the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1. Under the 2024 collective bargaining agreement between the NWSL and the NWSL Players Association (NWSLPA), free agents may negotiate new contracts with their current clubs or other teams.
