Marlies Set for Weekend in Upstate New York

October 26, 2019 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Toronto Marlies News Release

The Marlies are back in action this weekend, kicking off a pair of divisional games with a dance with the Devils in Binghamton.

Tonight's game marks the first of four meeting between these North Division rivals, and the Devils will be looking to bounce back on home ice following a 5-1 loss to the Utica Comets last night. The Comets are the only other team in the AHL apart from Toronto who remain undefeated. Binghamton currently sits sixth in the North Division with a 2-4-2-0 record.

Eyes will be on Egor Korshkov, who is the only Marlie to record a point (5-2-7) in each game this season. Rasmus Sandin also has points (1-3-4) in three consecutive games. The Marlies will be looking to build on their perfect start to the season. Toronto is 6-0 on the season and 3-0 against North Division opponents.

This trip to Upstate New York concludes tomorrow as the Marlies visit the Syracuse Crunch for their first meeting of the season.

Puck drops tonight at 7:05 PM and fans can catch the action live on AHLTV or can stay up to date on Twitter (@TorontoMarlies).
