January 11, 2021 - CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced that the Club has acquired Colombian forward Jhon Jáder Durán via transfer from Envigado FC (Colombia). Durán, 17, is the youngest international player signing in MLS history.
His contract with the Fire, which will begin on January 1, 2022, includes a three-year deal with Club options for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. January 8, 2021 - CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced the Club is set to develop an all-new visual identity, including a new primary crest. Owner and Chairman Joe Mansueto first shared details of the Club's plan in an open letter to Fire Season Ticket Holders and supporters earlier today. Fans will be involved throughout the project, with a series of roundtables, interviews and surveys planned for the coming months. January 5, 2021 - CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC announced today that defender/midfielder Mauricio Pineda has been called up to the U.S. U-23 Men's National Team. Pineda will join the U.S. U-23 MNT for a training camp in Bradenton, Fla. from Jan. 9-24 that will run in conjunction with the senior U.S. Men's National Team's January Camp.

December 31, 2020 - CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced it has signed defender/midfielder Mauricio Pineda to a multiyear contract extension that will keep him under contract through the 2023 season with a Club option for the 2024 season. Pineda, who signed a Homegrown Player contract on Jan. 17, recently earned his first call-up to the U.S. Men's National Team and was named the Fire's 2020 Defensive Player of the Year.
