The Stingrays have a record of 1-3 against the Everblades this season and a mark 0-2 this season against Florida at home. Both Florida and the Stingrays have lost their last three games. The Everblades have a record of 11-8-2 on the road.

Last Week in Review:

South Carolina started the week with a 6-4 win against the Richmond Renegades at the Coliseum on Tuesday night. Adam Calder had a five point night with two goals and three assists in the win. Dave Seitz grabbed his 200th career goal in the victory. The team lost their next three games to finish off a disappointing week. The Rays lost 4-2 in Richmond on Wednesday and were stopped 3-1 against Trenton at home on Friday. On Saturday, the Stingrays watched the Columbia Inferno score three third period goals to win 5-2.

Team Notes:

South Carolina has now lost three straight games, which is the longest losing skid of the season for the team. The team is heading into its longest road stretch of the season. After hosting Florida on Tuesday, they will play their next seven on the road. The Rays have a record of 3-6-1 over their last ten games. In two weeks, the Rays have slipped from first place in the Southeast into a tie for third, six points behind the first place Pee Dee Pride. Ironically, the Stingrays special teams have improved recently as the team has slid. The Rays are now ninth in the ECHL on the power play at 20.4%. On the penalty kill, South Carolina ranks 12th at 82.1%.

Players:

Rod Taylor had one goal on the week and inched closer to Darryl Noren's all time ECHL point total of 685. Taylor now has 682 career points. He has twelve points on six goals and six assists in twenty-one games with South Carolina. Kirk Daubenspeck still leads the ECHL in wins with 20. He has started all but five games for the Stingrays this season. Dave Seitz became the first player in Stingrays history with 200 goals with his 11th tally of the season on Tuesday night. Seitz is now tied for the team lead in points with Curtis Huppe at 41.
