Titans Face 'Top Two' In The Northeast Division Before All-Star Break

The Trenton Titans (19-14-7) open a four-game home stand this Friday night when they host the Greensboro Generals (). It is the fourth of six meetings between the Northeast Division opponents and the first in Trenton. The Titans were 0-2-1 in the previous three meetings in North Carolina. Then on Saturday night it's the seventh meeting in the "Garden State Cup series" with the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (). The Titans 2-3-1 against the Bullies this season, including a 2-1 mark in Trenton, while the Bullies are 4-0-2.

"Player of the Week – Cody Rudkowsky":

Coaches say your best player on the road has to be your goaltender and Cody Rudkowsky was just that on last week's four-game trip. He was outstanding once again going 3-0 last week on the trip south. Rudkowsky stopped 31 shots in a 4-3 win Tuesday night in Charlotte, then came back with performances of 31 saves and 29 saves in back-to-back wins on Thursday and Friday at Columbia and South Carolina. He finished with a 2.00 goals-against average and .938 save percentage. Rudkowsky is 9-1-5 since returning from Worcester on December 11th.

"Pool Sharks: Beechey and Zultek Continue To ‘Rack Up' The Points":

Line mates Tyler Beechey and Matt Zultek continue to make big contributions in the Titans lineup. Both had season and career best point streaks of seven games in December in leading the Titans to a 4-0-3 record. Beechey has 22 points (5 goals, 17 assists/+5 rating) in his last 17 games, while Zultek has 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists/+8 rating) during that span. The Titans are 9-3-5 in their last 17 games.

Titans In The Community:

- On Tuesday night, January 14th from 6-9 pm the Titans will hold their dinner for the winners of the "Time With A Titan" auction at the Kat Man Du in Trenton. The Titans raised over $6,500 for the Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children in Somerset, NJ during a post-game auction on January 4th.

- On Wednesday afternoon, January 15th from 7:45 – 9 pm Chris Lynch and Jon Insana will hold a hockey clinic for the children at the Face Off Circle in Warminster, PA.

- On Thursday afternoon, January 16th at 1:30 pm Matt Zultek will read to the students at Sayen Elementary School in Hamilton, NJ.

- On Wednesday January 22nd from 9 am – 3:30 pm the Titans will be teaming up with Mercer County and the Community Blood Council of New Jersey to sponsor a public blood drive at the McDade Administration Building. Call 1-866-2-GIVE-NJ for details.
