Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced today that goaltender Mike Mole has been reassigned to Utah by the New York Islanders from the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers and that rookie forward Tyler Haskins has rejoined the Sound Tigers.

The Grizzlies are the proud ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers and the NHL's New York Islanders.

Mole, 6-1-0-2 in his last night starts with Utah, and 18-10-0-4 overall with the Grizzlies, was promoted to Bridgeport Friday and arrived in Salt Lake City this morning for tonight's game against Fresno. The Grizzlies were forced to use emergency backup goaltender Ryan Lowe after the second period Sunday night when injured goaltender Nathan Lawson was unable to continue. The Grizzlies settled for one point in the game falling in a shootout 4-3.

Haskins rejoins the Sound Tigers where he spent 12 games in December and January. With Utah, the 21-year-old recorded 43 points (16 goals, 27 assists) in 41 games.

Utah returns home to the E-Center tonight, Friday and Sunday hosting Fresno. Tonight and Friday's games will start at 7:05 p.m. with a special 4:05 p.m. start scheduled for Sunday the 9th.
