
Prudden Returns from AHL

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that veteran center Josh Prudden has been returned to the club from loan to the American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose. Prudden is expected to be in the line-up tonight when the Falcons visit the Utah Grizzlies at 6:05 p.m. PST.
Prudden returns to the Fresno line-up for the first time since December 22, 2006. In 18 games for the Falcons last season, the 27-year-old scored seven goals and added 10 assists for 17 points. He spent the bulk of the season with Worcester, enjoying his best AHL season scoring 34 points (9g, 22a) in 56 games, while also finishing second on the team with a +16.
Prudden started this season with Worcester, scoring five goals and adding four assists in 32 games. He was released from his PTO in early February, when he signed a PTO with the Manitoba Moose. Prudden played in seven games with the Moose, scoring one goal.
In 322 career professional games with Fresno and Atlantic City in the ECHL, and Cleveland, Worcester and Manitoba in the AHL, Prudden has scored 63 goals and added 90 assists for 153 points. Prior to turning pro, Prudden played four seasons of college hockey at the University of New Hampshire, scoring 73 points in 131 games.
The Falcons open a three-game series at The E Center against the Utah Grizzlies tonight at 6:05 p.m. PST. Catch all of the action on 790 ESPN Radio, The Deuce, starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show at 5:50.
Fresno returns home on Tuesday, March 11, hosting the Idaho Steelheads at 7:00 p.m. It's Kids' Day at the Rink, presented by The Fresno Bee, ABC 30, Little Caesar's, and Educational Employees Credit Union. The first 1,000 kids 12 and younger in attendance receive a free growth chart. Falcons' players will be wearing special kids' day jerseys, which will be auctioned off following the game to benefit Children's Hospital of Central California. It's also a Two-for-Tuesday, presented by Carl's Jr., KMPH Fox 26, and KRZR 103.7 FM. Fans can visit any area Carl's Jr., and pick up a voucher allowing them to purchase one ticket at regular price and get a second ticket for free.
