Falcons fall in shoot-out

Fresno, California, The Fresno Falcons fell for the 2nd consecutive game to the Stockton Thunder. After skating to a 2-2 tie in regulation the game went scoreless in overtime as well. The game then went into a shootout. The Falcons lone goal of the shootout came from new Falcon J.T. Sawyer in round four. The shoot-out didn't end until the 10th round when David Rohlfs beat Falcon goalie Joe Fallon top shelf. The Falcons Dan Bertram notched two points on the evening, the first coming on a Jarrett Konkle goal at 15:51 of the 2nd. The second point from Bertram came on a goal of his own at 13:49 of the 3rd when he blasted a shot from the left circle that slipped past Thunder goalie Bryan Pitton who stopped 37 of the 39 shots he faced.

The Falcons next home game is Saturday Dec 20 at 7:35. The Falcons will host the Stockton Thunder and present Christmas caroling at the rink.
