Ice Pilots Join in Pep Rally for FCAT

PENSACOLA, FL - Bryan McGregor and Phil Youngclaus of the Ice Pilots visited OJ Semmes Elementary School in Pensacola last Thursday to participate in an FCAT Pep Rally. The rally was put together to help students focus on passing the FCAT, a standardized test in the state of Florida.

The two players educated students on the importance to education, going to college and passing the FCAT. Also joining in the pep rally was the Pensacola High School Cheerleading Team.

Last Wednesday, Exceptional Student Education brought youngsters to an Ice Pilots practice and visited with players and coaches.

Don't miss the hard hitting, exciting action, as the Ice Pilots' next home game is Saturday, March 15 at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Charlotte Checkers at the Civic Center. It is Military Night as the Ice Pilots will dress in camouflage jerseys which will be auctioned off. Group Tickets and Military Packages are still available through the Ice Pilots office.
