
Ice Pilots Mourn Loss of Frank Milne

PENSACOLA, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are saddened to announce the death of Frank Milne. He passed away on Friday night at the age of 74 after suffering complications from a stroke. Milne served as the Director of Hockey Operations from 2003-2005 with the club.
Pat Kelly, the first Commissioner of the ECHL, remembered Milne as a great person and a good friend. "Frank and I met 50 years ago this December. We played together from 1958-60. He was instrumental for the ECHL in putting a team in Charleston, SC," said Kelly. "We have kept in touch all these years. It is a sad day for me."
