October 22, 2024 - West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies have announced their captains for the 2024-25 season. Defenseman Gianni Fairbrother has been named captain of the Grizzlies and will wear the "C" for the 2024-25 campaign. Dylan Fitze and James Shearer have been named home assistant captains for Grizzlies home games. Cole Gallant and Mick Messner will be assistant captains for Grizzlies road games. Grizzlies Acquire Forward Reed Lebster in Trade with Florida

October 21, 2024 - West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies have acquired forward Reed Lebster as well as future considerations and the playing rights to forward Matthew Wedman in a trade with the Florida Everblades for the playing rights to forward Kyle Betts. Lebster appeared in 5 playoff games for the 2024 Kelly Cup champion Florida Everblades. Lebster played at UMass-Amherst for four seasons from 2019-2023, scoring 28 goals and 29 assists. October 21, 2024 - West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies' first road trip of the season continues in the black hills as they take on the Rapid City Rush on Friday and Saturday night. Face-off both nights are at 7:05 pm. The Grizzlies fell to the Idaho Steelheads 7-2 in the regular season opener last Friday night at Idaho Central Arena. October 19, 2024 - Boise, Idaho - The Utah Grizzlies got second period goals from Neil Shea and Mick Messner but it wasn't enough as the Idaho Steelheads got 2 goals from Ty Pelton-Byce and 1 goal and 1 assist performances by 3 different players as they defeat the Grizzlies 7-2 in the regular season opener at Idaho Central Arena.
