NORFOLK, VA - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, lost 4-2 on the road to the Norfolk Admirals Friday in the first of two games in as many nights involving the teams.

Norfolk took the first lead of the evening at 1-0 when Carl Corazzini put home a rebound for his 19th goal of the season off assists from Matt Keith and Jason Morgan 4:36 into the game.

The Admirals upped their advantage to 3-0 with a pair of second-period goals as Keith scored his 20th of the year off assists from Danny Richmond and Morgan at the 50-second mark and Nathan Barrett snapped in a rebound for his 25th of the season off assists from Martin St. Pierre and Shawn Thornton.

The Sound Tigers pulled to within 3-1 with a power-play goal by Jeff Hamilton 5:01 into the third period. It was the third goal, all on the advantage, in the last two meetings with Norfolk for Hamilton, with Rob Collins and Bruno Gervais notching the assists.

The Admirals regained the three-goal advantage exactly three minutes later when Jason Morgan swept home a backhander for a power-play goal, his seventh tally overall on the year, off assists from Corazzini and St. Pierre.

The Sound Tigers pulled goaltender Wade Dubielewicz in favor of an extra attacker with just over two minute left in the game, replaced him for a face-off at their blue line then pulled him again with just under two minutes to go, and Jeremy Colliton converted the rebound of a Masi Marjamaki shot for his 16th goal of the season at the 19:59 mark to finish the scoring at 4-2 Norfolk.

Keith was the first star of the game, Corazzini the second and Morgan the third. Both teams were 1 for 3 on the power play. Dubielewicz finished with 19 saves while Admirals netminder Adam Munro earned the win with 28 as the Sound Tigers had a 30-23 shots on goal advantage.
