Holt assigned to Wolf Pack

Hartford, March 10, 2006: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned goaltender Chris Holt to the Wolf Pack from Charlotte of the ECHL.

In eight games this year with the Wolf Pack, Holt is 2-2-1 with a 4.39 goals-against average and an 87.4% save percentage. He has also appeared in one NHL game with the Rangers, December 3rd at Washington, in which he stopped both shots he faced in 10 minutes of work. In 18 ECHL games with the Checkers, the rookie out of the University of Nebraska-Omaha was 6-8-1 with a 3.84 GAA and an 89.3% save percentage.

The Wolf Pack return to action tonight, March 10th, with a visit to Springfield (7:35 faceoff). Then on Saturday, the Pack host Binghamton at the Hartford Civic Center (7:00). Saturday is the Wolf Pack's final Scout Night of the season and will showcase a special in-game concert featuring Chica and Marcos Hernandez, courtesy of Radio Disney. Scouts at the game will receive the Pack's scout night t-shirt and can attend a pre-game showing of the movie "Down & Derby" and also compete in pinewood derby races starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall. Plus, all fans will receive a Ken Gernander career retrospective pictorial poster, compliments of Anthem Blue Cross / Blue Shield and Anthem Rewards.com.
