Canucks Re-Assign Ouellet to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have re-assigned goaltender Maxime Ouellet to the Moose.

Ouellet, 24, has appeared in seven games with the Moose this season. He has compiled a record of 5-2-0 in that span with a goals against average of 2.69 and a save percentage of .896. In his career, the Beauport, PQ native has played in 157 games in the AHL. He is 62-63-23 in that time with a goals against average of .923. In four games with the Canucks this year, Ouellet is 0-2-1 with a goals against average of 3.24 and a save percentage of .894. He was originally acquired by the Canucks from the Washington Capitals in exchange for a fifth round draft choice in 2006 back on December 2, 2005.
