GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Friday announced the hiring of accounting assistant Donna Boersma and corporate sales account manager Jennifer Nichols.

Boersma returns to the organization after a six-month hiatus, continuing in the role she previously held for nearly two years. She earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Davenport College (now Davenport University) in 1992.

Nichols brings a myriad of entrepreneurial experience to the Griffins' corporate sales department. As a co-founder of both Jemco Logics and Jemco Personnel, Inc. in Allendale, Mich., Nichols helped establish and build a million-dollar business venture. Previously, she served on the board of directors for both the Allendale Chamber of Commerce (2001-03) and the Great Lakes Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (2000-02).
