
'Dogs begin three-game homestand tonight

After earning five wins on their seven-game road trip, the Hamilton Bulldogs (28-34-0-3) begin a three-game homestand tonight when they battle the Manitoba Moose (36-18-5-3) at 7:30 p.m. Hamilton has a record of 2-3-0-1 against the Moose this season. Tonight's game can be seen live on Cable 14.
The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow when they face the Philadelphia Phantoms (25-29-1-7) at 7:00 p.m. Philadelphia is making their first and only visit to Hamilton this season. In the first meeting of the season on December 16, the Bulldogs defeated the Phantoms 3-1. The âDogs finish three games in four days on Monday, when the Iowa Stars (28-27-1-6) make their first ever, and only visit this season to Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m. In the first meeting of the season on November 19, the Stars defeated the Bulldogs 1-0.

Fans can listen to this weekend's games, and every Bulldogs game, on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, Hamilton's 820 CHAM "The Legend". Fans can also listen to or watch Bulldogs games on-line at www.hamiltonbulldogs.com. To listen online, click on the âBulldogs Action 820 CHAM Listen Live' Icon on the âDogs website. A partnership between the AHL and B2 allows fans to watch every Hamilton Bulldogs game this season. To watch a game, go to the Bulldogs website and click on the B2 âWatch the Game Live' icon. Ellery Award winning broadcaster Derek Wills will provide the play-by-play call of all 80 regular season games with Al Craig providing the colour commentary for home games and select road games.

- Hamilton is 9-3 in their last 12 games.
- G Jaroslav Halak recorded two shutouts last week. Halak posted his first career AHL shutout in only his second career AHL start on Tuesday, February 28, when the Bulldogs defeated the San Antonio Rampage 1-0 in overtime. The native of Bratislava, Slovakia then posted another shutout just two games later as Hamilton blanked Cleveland 3-0 on Friday, March 3.
- RW Andrei Kostitsyn has eight points (3g-5a) in his last seven games.
- LW Pierre Dagenais has seven points (6g-1a) in his last seven games.
- C Francis Lemieux has six points (2g-4a) in his last six games.
- C Corey Locke has recorded six points (1g-5a) in his last six games.
- LW Peter Vandermeer posted his first multi-goal game of the season, collecting two goals and one assist on March 3.
- D Andrew Archer recorded his first point in 14 games when he earned an assist in the Bulldogs' 4-1 loss to the Barons on Saturday, March 4.
