Francisco Is Healthy, Released From Tryout

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have released center Jon Francisco from his professional tryout agreement, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced Friday.

Francisco, 25, suffered a knee injury in his first and only game in a Monarchs uniform on January 6 when the Monarchs played the Providence Bruins. Prior to joining the Monarchs on January 5, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound native of Hermantown, Minnesota, appeared in 25 games with the ECHL's Reading Royals, recording 21 points (8-13=21) and 40 penalty minutes.

The Monarchs return to the ice on Friday, March 10 at 7:35 p.m. to host the Binghamton Senators at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
