Danis returns to Bulldogs

Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that the team has assigned goaltender Yann Danis to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Danis, 24, was recalled by the Canadiens on February 21 and did not see any action. He has appeared in 32 games with the Bulldogs, posting a record of 14-14-2, with a 2.88 goals-against average, and a 0.905 save percentage.

In six appearances with the Canadiens this season, Danis has earned a record of 3-2-0, with a 2.69 goals-against average and a 0.908 save percentage.

The Bulldogs next game will take place tonight, Friday, March 10th when the Manitoba Moose visit Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m. This game can be seen live on Hamilton's Cable 14.
