
Norfolk Adds Two PTOs

NORFOLK, VA - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced they have signed forwards John Snowden and Rory McMahon to professional tryout contracts (PTO).
Snowden, 24, has 25 goals and 30 assists for 55 points with 43 penalty minutes in 57 games with Norfolk's ECHL affiliate Greenville this season. The 6'0", 205 lbs., forward tops the Grrrowl in points, plus/minus rating (+21) and shots (218), and leads the ECHL in game-winning goals with seven. A Snohomish, WA, Snowden was an invitee to Norfolk's 2005-06 training camp.
McMahon, 24, has appeared in 58 games with Greenville, posting 21 goals and 20 assists for 41 points with 32 PIM and a plus-19 rating. He is third on the Grrrowl in goals and plus/minus rating, and tied for fifth on the team in points. The Perdue, SK, native stands at 6'1", 185 lbs., and was also an invitee to the Admirals' training camp this year.
