Blades Add Goaltender, Royer Recalled

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades President/GM Craig Brush announced today that goaltender Cam McCormick has been signed by the Everblades and defenseman Remi Royer has been recalled by the Houston Aeros (AHL). McCormick will join the team on the road for tomorrow night's game in Columbus.

McCormick is currently in his first professional season after completing a four year career at U-Mass-Lowell last season. During his senior year at U-Mass, the Kamloops, British Columbia native had a 13-6-3 record and a 1.88 GAA. Royer played in two games with Florida and registered 1 assist and 18 penalty minutes.

The Everblades hit the road to take on the Columbus Cottonmouths on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Florida then travels to Greenville on Thursday, Charlotte on Friday and Greensboro on Saturday. All 72 regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and NewsRadio 1660 AM with the "Voice of the Everblades" Mark Miller calling the play by play.
