Church Named ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Richmond left wing Brad Church is the InGlasCo East Coast Hockey League Player of the Week for November 11-17.

Church scored four goals and eight points as Richmond went 3-0 and moved into first place in the Northeast Division.

The 26-year-old Church scored two goals and had an assist in Friday's 8-1 win over Roanoke, and he came back the following night with three points on a power-play goal and two assists in a 7-2 win against Reading. He closed out the weekend with a power-play goal and an assist in a 3-2 win at Roanoke.

Selected in the first round (17th overall) by Washington in the 1995 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Church ranks second on the Renegades with eight goals, 11 assists and 19 points. Richmond is 7-3 in games that Church scores a point and 11-7-0 overall. Church scored 11 points (6g-5a) in eight games with Richmond in 2001-02 before being called up to the American Hockey League.

On behalf of Brad Church, a case of pucks will be donated to a Richmond area youth hockey organization by InGlasCo.
