Richardson returned to IceGators

Lafayette, LA – Louisiana IceGators captain Bruce Richardson has been returned to the team from AHL Milwaukee, IceGators head coach and vice president of hockey operations Dave Farrish announced Monday. The 25-year-old center, who practiced with the IceGators this morning, scored three goals in four games last week with the Admirals.

With the IceGators, Richardson has 16 points (5g, 11a) and 81 penalty minutes in 13 games this season. He is in the midst of a career-best seven-game point streak (3g, 8a). In 269 pro games, Richardson has recorded 131 points (48g, 83a) and 878 penalty minutes.

The IceGators play four times this week, including a Tuesday tilt in Mississippi that finishes off a three-game road trip. Louisiana begins a five-game homestand Friday with a 7:05 p.m. game against Baton Rouge, followed by games Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday at 4:05 p.m. against the Columbus Cottonmouths.
