April 10, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Louisiana IceGators News Release
The Louisiana IceGators finished the 2004-05 season with a 5-3 victory against the Texas Wildcatters. The Gators missed the playoffs for the first time in their ten year existence ending with a record of 26-40-6, 58 points, good for 5th place in the South Division. The game was overshadowed by the strong possibility that this night would mark the final chapter of the IceGators franchise. For the past decade the IceGators have marked a place in minor league sports history with a string of successes never to be forgotten.
