LAST WEEK: The Pride went 1-0-1 for the week, losing in a shootout to South Carolina and defeating Roanoke. Pee Dee enters this week in a three-way tied for second place in the Southeast Division with a 9-3-2 record for 20 points. They trail first-place South Carolina by two points with one game in hand.

Friday, November 15 v. South Carolina Stingrays 5 PRIDE 4 (SO)

For the second time in as many meetings this season, South Carolina defeated Pee Dee by a 5-4 score in a shootout. With the score tied at three midway through the final period, the Stingrays' Joel Irving got free and beat Ron Vogel giving his team the lead. But the Pride rebounded, and tied the game on a Mike Glumac tally with 6:11 left in regulation. In the shootout, South Carolina goaltender Kirk Daubenspeck stopped all five Pride shooters, while Marty Clapton was the only Stingray shooter to score on Vogel.

Saturday, November 16 v. Roanoke PRIDE 5 Express 1

Roanoke got out to an early lead, getting a power-play goal from Frank Novock just 34 seconds into the contest. But the Pride would get the next five scores and cruise to the victory. Matt Underhill stopped 27 shots in net to record his fifth win of the season, while five different Pride players tallied goals.

Tuesday, November 19 @ South Carolina 7:00 p.m. Radio coverage on Sunny 105.5 at 6:40

The Pride and Stingrays meet for the third time this season, and the first at the North Charleston Coliseum. Both meetings so far this season have gone to shootouts, with South Carolina winning 5-4 both times. Pee Dee is 0-4-2 in the last six head-to-head meetings. The Stingrays are in first place in the Southeast Division with an 11-4-0 record for 22 points, two ahead of the Pride.

Friday, November 22 v. Columbia 7:30 p.m. at the Lion's Den

The Pride and Inferno meet for the second time this season. Pee Dee won the first meeting, 5-2 at the Civic Center on October 12. Columbia is 9-5-2 on the season, and along with the Pride and Columbus, are tied for second place in the division.

Saturday, November 23 @ Charlotte 7:35 p.m. Radio coverage on Sunny 105.5 at 7:15

Pee Dee opens a four-game road trip with the first meeting this season against Charlotte. Last season, the Pride went 5-1-1 against the Checkers, and all time hold a 17-9-4 mark against Charlotte. The Checkers are 6-6-1 for 13 points and are in seventh place in the Northeast Division.

OTHER NOTES

A PERFECT 300

Saturday night's win over Roanoke was the 300th home win all time in Knoxville/Pee Dee franchise history. The Pride become the first team in ECHL history to reach 300 home wins. Of the 300 wins on home ice, 128 have come at the Florence Civic Center.

STREAKING RIGHT ALONG

Pride forward Matt Reid extended his point-scoring streak to eight games over the weekend. During the course of the streak, Reid has posted five goals and eight assists for 13 points. Reid has at least one point in 13 of the Pride's 14 games this season. Mike Glumac has a four-game point streak, over which he has tallied three goals and four assists.

MISCELLANEOUS STATS

Pee Dee is one of just two teams in the league, along with Lexington, to not allow a shorthanded goal this season. The Pride continue to lead the league in goals scored per game with an average of 4.29. In addition, the Pride are third in goals against per game, allowing the opposition just 2.71 scores per contest.
