LAST WEEK: 11/14 TRENTON 1, GREENSBORO 2 ¨ The Generals and Titans put on a defensive and goaltending clinic, but it was Greensboro who delivered in the clutch. After going the first 30 minutes of the game without a score, Pete Gardiner gave the Generals a 1-0 lead at 11:24 of the second period with a power play goal. Shane Campbell's first goal of the season gave the Generals a 2-0 lead just 23 seconds into the third period, and it proved to be a critical score. The Titans ruined Daniel Berthiaume's shutout bid 3:09 into the final stanza to cut the deficit in half, but he stopped all 33 other shots he faced to improve his record to 7-1-2 on the season.

11/15 TRENTON 3, GREENSBORO 6 ¨ The Generals completed a two-game sweep of the Titans behind the performances of Ole Kjenstad and Jamie Hodson. Jay Murphy was also a factor, scoring a shorthanded goal and dishing out two assists, while both Kurt Drummond and David Whitworth recorded three assists. Matt Turek and Pete Gardiner scored the other Generals goals.

11/16 GREENSBORO 2, CHARLOTTE 3 (OT) ¨ The Generals got off to a quick start, with Mark Turner scoring an unassisted shorthanded goal just 2:49 into the game for a 1-0 lead. The lead held up until the second period, when the Checkers retaliated with a pair of power play goals less than four minutes apart to take a 2-1 lead into the third period. Greensboro's Geno Parrish forced the extra session with his first goal of the season 7:37 into the third period, but Charlotte's Dusty Jamieson won the game at 2:20 of the extra session, forcing the Generals to settle for a point in the standings.
