
Pensacola's Gingras Named ECHL Goalie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Pensacola's Maxime Gingras is the East Coast Hockey League Goalie of the Week for November 11-17.
Gingras went 3-0-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and a .969 save percentage. He has started 12 consecutive games in net for the Ice Pilots and is 4-0-0 with a 1.22 goals against average and a .960 save percentage in his last four starts and 4-0-1 with a 1.16 goals against average and a .963 save percentage in his last five games.
The 24-year-old Gingras had 36 saves in a 6-1 win over Louisiana on Friday and made 30 saves in a 2-1 win at Mississippi on Saturday. He closed out his weekend with 29 saves in a 3-1 win at Baton Rouge on Sunday.
Gingras, who was selected first team All-ECHL with Richmond in 1998-99, is 6-3-3 and ranks third in the ECHL with 404 saves and a .935 save percentage while ranking fifth with a 2.15 goals against average and 782 minutes.
Runners-Up: Tyrone Garner, Jackson (2 gp, 2-0, 1.05 GAA, .949 save pct.) and Dan Lombard, Richmond (2 gp, 2-0, 1.50 GAA, .940 save pct.)
